What is a digital badge?

Professional Academy Skill Sprint learners who complete all five required tasks are emailed their digital badges approximately 24 hours afterwards (please check your spam folder).

An email will be sent to you with a secure link to your digital badge. The badge is issued by Accredible, and serves as a means for you to validate and share your accomplishment. Its authenticity can be easily verified by anyone at any time.

With the secure digital badge, your new skills and knowledge can be verified and shared with employers, colleagues, or recruiters.  This can be done in the following ways:

• Adding it to your ‘Certifications’ on LinkedIn (you can do this with one click on the credential)
• Share it to your LinkedIn feed to update your network
• Add your badge and qualification to your email signature to communicate your new status with your colleagues 

To support environmental sustainability, badges are issued digitally. However, if you prefer, you can download and print a physical copy for your records.
