Students whose submitted assignments do not meet the passing requirements (Clear Fail, Fail or No Attempt) will have the opportunity to re-submit an assignment once. Results of re-submitted assignments will be limited to a final award of Pass (i.e., will not be awarded a Merit or Distinction).
The opportunity to make a resubmission becomes available as soon as results are released. From this time, you will have 14 days to make a resubmission. For the exact re-submission due date, please check the assignment submission point on your LMS course page.
*** For students who are doing the Full Stack Software Development course please refer to your LMS Course Page for repeat submission information.***
The right to re-submit an assignment will only apply where a first attempt meeting the minimum length requirements has been submitted within the deadline.
Where there are two or more weighted assignments, all components must be submitted and receive at least a Pass grade in order to pass the course overall. In other words, strong performance in one assessed component will not compensate for other components which fail or are not submitted.
Underlying percentage scores will be used for the purpose of calculating a final outcome where there are two or more weighted assignments. However, please note that for most courses, results will only be expressed in the form of a band (Distinction / Merit / Pass), rather than as a percentage.
