Joining Your Skill Sprint
UCD Professional Academy will register you on our LMS (Learning Management System) so you can access your learning materials, course information and the Zoom details for your course.
You will receive a separate email from professional.academy@learn.ucdpa.ie with the subject line: "New User Account". Please be aware this email may occasionally land in a learner’s junk/spam inbox. This will be sent by close of business the Friday before your course begins. This email contains the link to the LMS, your username and a temporary password, which you will be prompted to change when you log in for the first time.
If you have previously taken a course with us, you will not receive new login details by email; simply log into your existing LMS account at https://learn.ucdpa.ie/.
If you are experiencing difficulty logging into your classes or into the LMS, the Operations Team is available to assist you via this form.
You will have the option to interact with your SME during online sessions with any questions you may have.
We do encourage attendance, where possible, but attendance does not directly impact a learner’s ability to achieve a Badge, as this is calculated based on successful completion of the five Skill Sprint requirements only. There is no need to let us know as we do not update attendance retroactively due to it not affecting Badging.
If you cannot attend a particular session, that’s not a problem. We understand that not all learners can attend every session, which is why we provide live recordings/revision videos for you on the LMS to catch up on any content you might have missed.
Please note that session recordings are available for 120 days from the day the session is delivered, and it is your responsibility to view them within that period.
