The Learning Management System (LMS)
Accessing the LMS
UCD Professional Academy will register you on our LMS (Learning Management System) so you can access your learning materials, course information and the Zoom details for your course.
You will receive a separate email from professional.academy@learn.ucdpa.ie with the subject line: "New User Account". Please be aware this email may occasionally land in a learner’s junk/spam inbox. This will be sent by close of business the Friday before your course begins. This email contains the link to the LMS, your username and a temporary password, which you will be prompted to change when you log in for the first time.
If you have previously taken a course with us, you will not receive new login details by email; simply log into your existing LMS account at https://learn.ucdpa.ie/.
If you are experiencing difficulty logging into the LMS, the Operations Team is available to assist you via this form.
Using the LMS
UCD Professional Academy uses an online LMS that houses all relevant data relating to your learning.

On the LMS, you can:
- Access course resources
- Access either recorded sessions or revision videos
- Recorded sessions are available within 3 working days after the live session takes place, while revision videos are available immediately once the session ends
- Revision videos are not the live session itself, but recordings made in advance that contain all of the slides and course materials for that section of the course
- View your course timetable
- View assessment briefs and submit assessments
You will have access to the LMS and all course materials for a duration of 6 months from the end date of your course before access is restricted. Downloading or sharing your course recordings is not allowed; all recordings should be viewed via the LMS. To keep slide decks or handouts for later reference, we recommend downloading them before the end of the 6 month window.
